Jewellery Care – 18K Rose Gold & Diamonds

Rosé. Fine Jewellery is created to accompany you for a lifetime. Each design is crafted in 18 karat gold, often set with hand-selected diamonds. With a gentle care routine and our care service, your jewellery will retain its radiance for years to come.

Everyday gentle care

For day-to-day cleaning of your Rosé pieces, a very simple routine is sufficient. It is ideal for jewellery in 18K gold and diamonds that you wear regularly.

  1. Fill a small bowl with lukewarm water.
  2. Add a few drops of mild dish soap or a gentle, fragrance-free cleanser.
  3. Place your piece in the solution for about 10–15 minutes.
  4. Gently brush it with a soft brush (for example a baby toothbrush).
  5. Rinse under lukewarm, clear water.
  6. Pat dry with a soft, lint-free cloth.

This method is ideal for 18K gold and diamonds. If you are unsure about specific gemstones, we recommend contacting us before cleaning them at home.

Professional care service

Some steps are best entrusted to experienced hands. We recommend having your Rosé pieces professionally checked on a regular basis – especially if you wear them every day.

In our partner atelier we can:

  • check settings and prongs
  • professionally clean diamonds and gemstones
  • reduce fine scratches through polishing
  • bring back the original brilliance of your jewellery

Our recommendation: entrust your favourite piece to a professional check at least once a year – more often if you wear it daily.

Diamonds & delicate gemstones

Diamonds

Diamonds are very hard, but creams, soap and natural oils can dull their appearance. Gentle cleaning with lukewarm water, mild soap and a soft brush is ideal, as long as you rinse thoroughly afterwards and dry with a soft cloth.

Delicate stones

Some gemstones are more sensitive – for example emeralds, opals, pearls, turquoise, coral or amber. They should not be cleaned in aggressive solutions, in ultrasonic devices or left in long soaking baths.

For these stones, a very lightly dampened, soft cloth with a touch of mild soap is sufficient. Then wipe with a second cloth, slightly dampened with clean water, and gently dry. If you are unsure, we are happy to advise you personally.

Protection in everyday life

The best care begins with how you wear your jewellery. A few discreet habits protect your Rosé pieces every day:

  • Put on last – after skincare, perfume and make-up.
  • Remove for sports and household tasks – to avoid knocks, sweat and contact with detergents.
  • Avoid wearing in the pool or sea – chlorine, salt water and strong temperature changes are unfavourable.
  • Wipe briefly after wearing – a soft cloth removes oils and restores the sheen.

Storing your Rosé pieces

Your jewellery is most comfortable when stored individually and softly cushioned:

  • each piece in its own soft pouch or compartment
  • protected from rubbing against other jewellery
  • kept dry and away from direct sunlight
  • not stored permanently in a damp bathroom environment

When you notice changes

Please contact us or a qualified jeweller if you notice that:

  • a stone feels loose or appears to move
  • your piece shows deep scratches or dents
  • a ring is visibly out of shape
  • your jewellery looks dull despite gentle cleaning

In these cases it is always better not to experiment at home. We will ensure that your piece returns to its best possible condition.
