My grandfather Mathai Narithookil
The story of Rosé. Fine Jewellery. begins in Kerala, India.
Over 70 years ago, my grandfather Mathai Narithookil founded a small jewellery store in a town in South India. He had a deep appreciation for beauty, was firmly rooted in his values – and saw something timeless in gold:
A promise of permanence and lived connection.
His presence, values and attitude continue to form the foundation of Rosé to this day.
Three Generations of Passion for Beauty
While my grandfather laid the foundation, it was my uncle's workshop that sparked my passion for exceptional jewellery. On my early trips to India, I witnessed how pure gold is transformed into works of art – a process that has captivated me ever since.
Today, my cousins carry on this family tradition in India. Their craftsmanship, combined with my personal experience in the world of jewellery, inspired me to found:
